Hello! I’m Abi Quyam, I am an Ofsted registered Childminder, offering a nurturing and stimulating home-based childcare setting based in SG1 area of Stevenage and just a short distance from Stevenage Town Centre, and nearby Lister Hospital, Broom Barns Primary School, Sunbeams Nursery and Bedwell Primary School.
I have extensive experience caring for babies as young as 6 weeks up to children aged 8 years, I provide a warm and engaging environment. My setting features a dedicated playroom that is both safe and stimulating, equipped with a variety of games, toys, books, music, painting supplies, and educational materials suitable for children from birth to 8 years. The spacious garden provides ample opportunities for outdoor play and exploration throughout the year.
I accept 2-year and 3-year-old nursery funding for up to 30 hours per week.

Experience and Qualifications
With 11 years of dedicated experience in childcare, I have extensive expertise in caring for babies from as young as 6 weeks and children up to 8 years old.
I am also a mother to two boys. My personal experience enhances my understanding of the needs and routines of both young children and working parents. I am fully insured, First Aid qualified, and C.R.B checked including all members in the household. My last Ofsted inspection was carried out in 2023 and rated as Good.
